I’m going full time!

Life is too short not to pursue your dreams.  After 8 ½ years in chemical engineering and supply chain (and the last 2 ½ years also as a part time photographer), I am taking the leap into a new chapter today as a full time artist and entrepreneur.   Leaving behind the known and the obligations of the corporate world and opening myself up to the chance to create and make this business and this life into what I envision it to be.   Time to put my life as a photographer and adventurer first.  This is what I’m supposed to be doing, I have no doubt in my mind, and it’s going to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

There are so many people that have poured out their support for me and I am so grateful to have them in my life.  I just want to say a quick thank you to my family who have always supported me in everything that I do.  Most of all they just want me to be happy which I believe is what is truly important in this life.  My friends, who are amazing and are probably tired of hearing me talk about leaving my job, but they still always listened and cheered me on.  Love you guys!  Thank you to all of the wonderful photographers that I have had the pleasure of learning from, shooting with, and sharing laughs with.  You all continue to to motivate and impress me, and I am so thankful the local community is so giving.  To my clients, this would not be possible without you!  Thank you for helping me grow my business to what it is today and trusting in me. You truly are the best!

Lastly, I am so grateful for my husband who has supported me from day one of this journey.  This has been far from easy and he is the one there with me every single day.  What he gets to see are the long nights of editing, and the weekends away where I am out at a shoot.  He gets to sit through the hundreds of test shots so that I can learn lighting, and he is always willing to help.  I can’t even express how thankful I am to have my husband as my biggest supporter.  I couldn’t do this without him.

Hope you’re ready for me world, because I am coming at you full speed, and this girl has BIG dreams!
