I’m so excited to share Erin & Kevin’s Cruiser Olympia Wedding at the Independence Seaport Museum with you! Erin and I used to play soccer together back in the high school days and I have been looking forward to her and Kevin’s wedding! They were married on a ship commissioned in 1895 that was in the Spanish-American war and used during WWI. How unique of a venue is this?! They wanted something memorable for their guests and with Kevin having served in the Navy, and Philadelphia being their home, the USS Olympia was perfect.
Kevin and Erin were giddy with happiness from the moment they saw each other and throughout the entire wedding day. They decided to have their first look in beautiful Old City Philadelphia. After the most adorable first look, we wandered around the cobblestone streets and visited the 18th Century Gardens before heading to the ship for few more portraits!
The ceremony occurred on the deck of the ship surrounded by their closest friends and family. It started out drizzling and as the ceremony went on the rain started to come down heavier. It was so romantic! They will have a lot of good luck! The reception was on the lower decks of the ship. Erin’s sister and uncle sang their first dance song so beautifully and the toasts were incredibly heartfelt and memorable. It was such a joy to document their day!
Kevin and Erin, Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your special day! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
