Megan and Robert’s Hotel Dupont Wedding kicked off my 2018 wedding season this year! Their wedding was full of elegance and took place in the most beautiful setting.  You seriously have to check out this ballroom! When I start off the year with a wedding like this I know it’s going to be a great wedding season! I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorite the images from their day!
Rob-spending the day with Megan and eating
Megan- everything!
We envision our wedding day as being romantic, elegant, fun, a party for family and friends. We are using wine, rose gold, black and blush colors.
Our first date was 4/8/2013 and we met in Philadelphia where he took me to the Mutter museum. Afterwards, we went to the Good Dog for some beers and the Devils Alley for dinner. The date was the longest date for both of us and lasted about 8 hours.
Rob proposed at Longwood Gardens on 12/29/2016. He initially wanted to propose on his birthday which is 12/26 but I was late getting home from work and messed up his plans. I had no idea that he was going to propose at Longwood so on the way there I said “Are you proposing tonight?” He didn’t say anything.
It was rather cold out that night and he made me walk every inch of the place. Little did I know he was searching for the best spot. He finally found a large Christmas tree as we were walking towards the exit and he brought me over to it. As I was looking at the tree, I could see him fumbling with his wallet and I asked him what he was doing. Just then, $20 fell out and he handed it to me. I was a little confused and that is when he got down on one knee and proposed.
We enjoying spending time at the beach, riding mountain bikes, traveling, and hanging with friends
The Hotel DuPont is just a beautiful and historical landmark in Delaware and we just loved it when we saw it.
