Today I am sharing Hannah and Frank’s romantic summer Drumore Estate Lancaster wedding! These two met in Ocean City New Jersey on the boardwalk singing karaoke during 10th grade at Shriver’s gelato on New Year’s Eve. Their love story is basically the plot of High School Musical! Hannah and Frank had a beautiful summer day for their wedding surrounded by all of their closest friends and family and naturally had to have an ice cream truck during the reception to celebrate!
Hannah and Frank, it has been so much fun getting to know you better. I have loved sharing tips on all our favorite travel destinations. Thank you again for all your Japan tips! I am so happy we had the opportunity to spend this special day with you and I wish you both all the best!
Hannah has this unwavering ability to squeeze every ounce of magic out of life, and does it in the nicest way possible. Have you ever had a big dog try to sit on your lap, even though he doesn’t fit? You’ll push back at first, sure, maybe get annoyed when he keeps trying? But then, after a few good minutes, you’ll burst in to laughter as he somehow squeezes himself up there. That’s the way she handles life, a mix of sweetness and determination. Without Hannah there’s countless places I wouldn’t have gone, nameless things I wouldn’t have done, and a way to see the world I would have been blind to. She’s the spark that lights the fire that ignites my soul, and I’m such a better man with her in my life.
Frank has SO admirable things I love about him, it’s hard to think of my favorite! I secretly love that he’s constantly one step ahead, planning for ten years down the road when I’m barley planning for one. I admire how he thinks through and evaluates so many possibilities when making a decision and how from even well before our engagement, he factored me and things for myself I never thought of into them. He’s goal oriented and has the self determination and dedication to attain them. I love that we’re complete opposites and work, think and plan totally differently, but yet we accomplish so much together. I love that he’s always the first to say I’m sorry, even when I’m wrong. Honestly what I love most is that he’s my best friend (so cliche I know). He’s the person I want to tell everything to, want to explore everywhere with, bum it on the couch with, and do everything in between!
The Drumore was only the second location we physically visited, but it stole our hearts right away. We were looking for a location that was outdoor, classic, had a tent and could string lights for dancing under. We stumbled upon Drumore online, it checked all those boxes and in one visit we fell in love!
I envision a romantic magical day, our venue in full beautiful bloom. I’ve fallen in love with the pastel color panel and plan to include this in center pieces, bridesmaid dresses and flowers. I picture happiness with all our guest and a really fun day dancing the night away with my husband!
I think just having all our families together for the whole day to celebrate with us. We’ve been together for almost ten years and Frank’s family has become mine (and vise versa for Frank!), so it will be really special to have them all together. We’ve had some blended family events, but never to this magnitude – Not to mention having all our friends there! We’re just so excited to have everyone together to celebrate!
