Kacie and Joe were married at the Country House at Bluestone in Blue bell, PA! Family and friends from all over celebrated with them as they tied the knot and became husband and wife. These two are so loved by so many people, and it was such a joy to witness it! Kacie and Joe both love 90’s alternative rock and have seen countless shows together. Let’s just say their reception music was on point (Shout out to Pat & Sean Kelly for making it happen)!
Kacie and Joe, thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding day! You two are such an amazing couple and I have had so much fun getting to know you better in our short time together. I’m so excited for you guys as you start this new adventure as husband and wife!
Joe and I met our sophomore year at Manhattan College, out at a bar one night. Honestly, neither of us remember the name of the bar and the exact timeline is a bit foggy. I was new to Manhattan, having just transferred in at the beginning of the year and was just getting to know everyone. We quickly became close friends since we were both accounting majors and had almost every class together for the remainder of college. We studied and did homework together, and because we lived just two buildings away from each other often walked to and from class together.
After graduation we both started work at competing Big Four Firms and remained close friends. A few years later we went on our first date.
The reception location took us quite a long time to nail down (6 months to be exact). Joe grew up in New York and I grew up in Pennsylvania, so we knew we wanted to have the reception in one of those locations. One thing that was really important to us, was that we wanted our wedding to incorporate both indoor and outdoor elements. We ultimately fell in love with the beautiful garden and awesome outdoor patio overlooking the golf course at the Country House at Bluestone. I loved the idea of being able to have lawn games during cocktail hour and a fire pit for our guests to enjoy!
Most importantly, Joe and I envision our day surrounded by all of the people we love, having a blast.
