Samantha and Michael got engaged in a beautiful private spot overlooking the fields at Longwood Gardens. When I asked them where they wanted to do there engagement session, they knew exactly where to go. Here are a few of my favorites!
Samantha: Michael actually had to convince me to go out on our first date. At the time I was a Junior at Temple University and my weekends pretty much revolved around homework. Michael had come into the city to visit me and I wanted to just stay in and hang out. Michael eventually convinced me to go out. We went out to dinner at Triumph Brewery followed by desert at Franklin Fountain. On the walk back towards the subway it started lightly snowing you could say it was pretty romantic.
Some of our favorite things to do as a couple are to catch the latest movies at our local theater, spending time with our families, taking walks around our neighborhood together and hanging out at home with our two adorable cats, Luna and Laura.
Samantha: Michael knows that I absolutely love Longwood Gardens so he devised a plan. He first got the ring and then he had to find the perfect spot. A couple weeks before he planned to pop the question I had to go on a quick work trip to Nashville. which was the perfect opening. Michael took his Dad to the Gardens where they scoped out the perfect spot. A couple of weeks later we headed to the Gardens on a date day. After we had seen everything that I wanted to see Michael suggested we head out to the Meadows. So off we went, after walking out there and up a giant hill Michael suggested we take a seat and started talking about how far we had come. Once I figured out he was going to propose I pretty much lost my ability to think so as soon as he hit the ground and popped the question I said yes and still can’t remember anything he had said!
