Cairnwood Estate Wedding

Nick and Beya had the most perfect Cairnwood Estate wedding!  Their day was absolutely breathtaking.  Some of my favorite moments were when Nick gifted Beya earrings from the 1920’s to start the day.  When Beya opened the gift she said she wanted to wear them every single day!  Nick also custom designed the invitation suite with their own monogrammed logo and a beautiful drawing of the estate.  How cool is that?!  There was so much joy and emotion in their day.  I especially loved how they chose to hold hands without seeing each other before the ceremony, speaking about their excitement and thanks for their special day that had finally arrived.

Their whole day felt like a dream.   I LOVE when portraits are timed just right with golden hour.  Throw in the ornate architecture and a couple who builds in lots of time for portraits and my heart is happy!  I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorites from Nick and Beya’s day!

How they chose Cairnwood Estate

The New York Public Library is a special place for me (Beya), and architecture is a part of Nick. We got engaged in the reading room and it is now a very special place for the both of us.  The same people who did the beautiful architecture work for the library are also the same people who did the architecture work for Cairnwood Estate.

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

I envision a lot of laughter, a lot of good memories forming, A LOT of dancing, a lot of hugs, a lot of strength and a lot of joy.
