Leslie and Austin celebrated their wedding day at the stunning Aldie Mansion in Doylestown. With it’s beautifully manicured grounds and it’s early 20th century charm Aldie Mansion truly was a perfect spot for the timeless wedding they envisioned! It was an incredible day with an amazing team of vendors that brought the whole day to life. Leslie and Austin were a joy to work with, and I can’t thank them enough for trusting me to document their wedding day!
I love how he makes me laugh every single day and sometimes at his own expense! Austin is almost always in a good mood. I love that he is a calming force when I am feeling stressed out or down. Austin is one of the smartest people I know and I love that he has this ability to recall obscure information. He’s a dangerous Jeopardy and trivia player!
I love how effortless it is to talk to and spend time with her. Leslie is my best friend, and my favorite part of the day is seeing each other when we both get home from work. She’s brilliant, thoughtful, and selfless in everything she does. I’m just excited to start our life together as husband and wife!
We wanted the ceremony and reception venue to be local to Doylestown. Choosing the location for the ceremony was easy. Several of Austin’s family members were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown, so we wanted to keep that tradition going. We visited a few reception venues but when we pulled up to Aldie Mansion we knew right away we found the perfect venue before we even went inside.
We want a traditional and classic wedding. Austin and I are hoping to incorporate some of the rich colors of fall into our color scheme with burgundy dresses for the bridesmaids. We are planning to balance out those rich colors with gold and blush.
We’re looking forward to seeing friends and family we don’t get to see very often, getting to see all of our planning come together, and getting to call each other “Husband” and “Wife”!
